About Us – Capen Music

About
Capen Music

Since 2011, Capen Music has been helping students in Sri Petaling learn music properly and grow in confidence. Some come for exams. Some come because they enjoy music. Some come because they want to perform.

Whatever the reason, we guide them step by step, so they can build a good foundation, enjoy the process, and slowly gain the courage to play in front of others.

Music Should Go Beyond the Lesson Room

Many students learn music for years, but only play alone in the room. We believe music should not stop there.

When students are ready, they should have chances to perform, play with others, and share what they have learned. It does not need to be a big stage. Sometimes a small recital or simple performance is enough to help a student grow.

Whatever the reason, we guide them step by step, so they can build a good foundation, enjoy the process, and slowly gain the courage to play in front of others.

Taught by Musicians Who Understand Performance

Students need both structure and encouragement. They need to learn the right technique, practise consistently, understand rhythm, notes, and control. But they also need a teacher who is patient enough to guide them when they struggle.

At Capen, we keep lessons clear, supportive, and suitable for each student’s pace.
